Description: A very uncommon, nearly 9 pound(!) limb/ log of Blue Forest Wood. The specimen exhibits beautiful, sharp interior growth rings, plus a minor bit of Orange Calcite for a nice color contrast. The exterior consists of the typical Fossil Algae surface with Chalcedony. This is a very large, excellent specimen that stands upright on its own, making a superb display specimen. It was collected by Joe and Lucy Cota, February 4th, 2008 and polished to a mirror luster by Joe Cota. Comes with label.

Description: This offering is for a beautiful Arizona round. It is an end cut and thus has varying thickness from 3/4" to 1/16". The dominant color in this piece is Red with a Purple/ Gray center. There is some Glue visible on the backside for stabilization. Also it must be added that there are incomplete areas around the exterior that show the interior Red color instead of "Bark". Still a super colorful piece and a great value that will certainly brighten up any wood collection!

There are many bright Green moss inclusions that adds excellent color contrast to the specimen. An old time specimen collected during the 1960's by the late Herb Ramsey.
