Description: Here's a large, hefty topaz crystal from Pakistan. We found this crystal in a Gem Rough display at a dealers booth and just had to rescue it! The specimen has bright luster a wonderful light, sherry Brown color and is terminated by broad “wedge shaped” Y faces bounded by a thin, flat basal pinacoid. It has good areas of transparency and also fluoresces a rich Yellow under shortwave ultraviolet light. There is some damage to the corners and marring to some of the edges but as can be seen, this crystal is a very handsome display specimen!
