Item# TS-2 CALCITE Tri-State Mining District, Picher, Oklahoma Collected Late 1950's — Former Belden Collection Size: 3 3/4" X 3 1/2" Price: $75.00 Description: I just love this piece! The main crystal is clean, sharp and measures 1 1/2" long. What's so awesome about the specimen is that the scalenohedral crystal displays highly detailed internal cleavage structure - this feature being what led René Just Haüy to experiment with the geometrical law of crystallization. Will need stand for upright display.

Item# TS-6 CALCITE Tri-State Mining District, Picher, Oklahoma Collected Late 1950's — Former Belden Collection Size: 4" X 3" Price: $100.00 Description: A very handsome and aesthetic grouping - this being probably one of the best of the multiple growth stage pieces. Creamy tan Calcite overgrows sharp, lustrous orange/ yellow Calcite crystals to 2+ inches. One missing termination on the back that does not show. In my opinion, a superb piece! |
