NAICA SELENITE FOR SALE
We recently obtained a beautiful lot of lustrous Naica Gypsum and are offering some for sale here. The specimens come from a recent 2021 find from a pocket adjacent to the giant room which has recently been re-flooded. The Naica mine had been closed and production had ceased for the last year. Eight hundred miners had lost their jobs but this new production is an encouraging sign of great things to come! Those selenites was collect this year when the naica mine open again (cause the covid). The miners collect them cause they can earn more money than the mining work, when the mine close last year 800 miners and family need go out the town cause they don't have any work there in the town. We support directly the naica miners. The original giant crystal cave was flooded again to conserve the crystals, but this pieces comes from a secondary cave in the same mountain, we call another room. |
